Governor Reynolds Flexes Muscle Getting on the Ballot

Last week, Governor Kim Reynolds submitted almost 10,000 signatures to get on the ballot. Her campaign reported that this was twice the required number needed. Furthermore, the Governor qualified in all 99 counties, a feat that no other statewide candidate for Governor, Republican or Democrat, has done this election cycle.

The Reynolds campaign surpassed potential Democrat general election opponents like Fred Hubbell, Nate Boulton, and Cathy Glasson in total number signatures, and by hitting the county minimum in all 99 counties. No other campaign this cycle has done that.

This isn’t the first time the Kim Reynolds campaign has projected strength and organization. Earlier this year, the campaign reported over 4,000 campaign county chairs. This came on the heels of raising a record amount of money and having the most cash-on-hand ever the year before an election.

On top of all of this, the Reynolds campaign just completed a multi-city statewide campaign announcement.

In an election cycle like 2018, Iowa Republicans can be confident in Governor Reynolds’ ground operation and her ability to carry Republicans up and down ballot to victory.

Tip of the hat to Governor Reynolds and her campaign team.
