These are dark depressing days for Cyclone fans. Not only is their football team just good enough to break their fans hearts, but ESPN Page 2 just disqualified the Cyclones in the College Football Tailgating Contest.
I’m sorry but this is crap. Did the rules explicitly state that no shenanigans were allowed? Just because ISU’s engineers know how to pull this off is no reason to penalize them. Additionally, ESPN Page 2 didn’t question the results when Louisiana Tech beat LSU, Iowa State beat Iowa, or Maryland knocked off Penn State in round one.
Everyone and their brother knows that the best tailgating on the list would be found at LSU, with Penn State being a close second.
