hudson-480 Apparently the Obama Administration must have thought that New Yorkers would not be disturbed by the site of a 747 being chased by two fighter jets near the Statue of Liberty. The 747 was Air Force One, and they were just trying to get some really cool pictures, I guess.

People panicked, buildings were evacuated, and memories of 9-11 crept back into the minds of the American people.

Any fixed wing airplace can only be called Air Force One when the president is actually onboard.
