I don’t know about you, but I need a little break from the political for a day. What can I say, even political junkies need a breather every now and then.
Last week, I came across two separate news stories about some pretty amazing photos. Those stories reminded me of another that I’d heard about earlier.
Kinda makes you appreciate creation (and the Creator).

Yeah, a few false color photographs from billions of miles away by a man-made satellite sure does make me appreciate the creator.
that Nick is stupid. That may be the least intelligent remark I’ve ever read on these blogs and that is really saying something. Hey, if Darwin did it, would you feel differently? You just can’t explain it can you? How is it that every single thing evolved from a rock? Isn’t that the left wing nut job position? We all evolved some the same rock. But, what created the rock? splain that to me lucy.

I didn’t say anything other than the truth. The photos were taken by man-made satellites from millions if not billions of miles away and colorized by computer. You think there’s actually something that looks like an big blue eye floating around in the middle of space?
Here’s a brief description from Snopes:
/The above-displayed image is a real photograph of the Helix Nebula, although it’s technically not a single photograph but rather a composite image formed from several photographs taken by NASA’s orbiting Hubble Space Telescope and a land-based telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson, Arizona. This image was NASA’s “Astronomy Picture of the Day” for 10 May 2003.
The Helix Nebula does not naturally appear with the colors shown above, however; the tinting of the image is artificial. The picture’s “Eye of God” appellation is a title coined by an admirer of the photo due to the nebula’s resemblance to a human eye, not something designated by NASA, and the nebula is also visible all the time, not merely “once in 3000 years.” /
I thought the left wing nut jobs said we evolved from monkeys? Now it’s from rocks? Make up your mind, weirdos.
