I think someone needs to tell the President that he lives in the White House, not Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
Seriously, if you didn’t know any better, you’d swear you were watching amateur hour when watching the president make his media rounds. Oh wait, Obama was totally inexperienced and unqualified to be president, so we actually are watching amateur hour… how silly of me to forget.
I was a little disgusted yesterday morning when I heard that Obama took time out of his busy schedule to do yet another entertainment TV appearance, giving his NCAA tourney picks on ESPN. Although, I have to say I got a good chuckle when I heard a certain coach’s reaction to the picks.
Of course, some of that is because Obama didn’t pick Duke to win, but I admire Coach K. for having the guts to say what a lot of people were thinking.
And last night, Obama wasted more time on yet another frivolous publicity stunt. Our fearless leader did the Tonight Show.
As if Obama isn’t spending enough of his time on leisure activities, such as his NCAA picks, Obama had to tell Jay Leno all about the perks of living in the White House, such as, for example, the bowling alley.
Obama bragged to “The Tonight Show” that he recently bowled 129 on the White House alley.
“It’s like Special Olympics,” he said.
So, the President is okay with making fun of handicapped people? Can you imagine the hellfire that would be raining down right now in the mainstream media if a Republican had said that? I can see it now… “insensitive,” “bigoted,” and “intolerant” are just a few of the words that would surely be splashed across the headlines.
I’m sure Obama will come up with some excuse for his behavior… he must have been temporarily possessed by a Republican or something.
But that wasn’t even the most outrageous thing Obama said in the interview. According to MSNBC.com:
Stunned?!? Really, stunned??? Remember, your buddy Chris Dodd slid in an amendment that made this A-Okay, and then your Dem buddies in your Dem-controlled congress (along with a few spineless Republicans) all voted for it because you were telling everyone that we had to do something? Is this ringing any bells???
And I had to laugh because Obama sure didn’t seem like he was too worried about “moral and ethical problems” when he was appointing tax cheats left and right to be in his cabinet.
Welcome to the circus folks, the show is just getting started.

Republicans have a track record of being “insensitive,” “bigoted,” and “intolerant.” That’s why it’s a big deal. We know you guys really mean it when you say screwed up stuff.
FYI
So democrats can make fun of disabled people because we should all know they don’t really mean it? Great argument. Someone needs to get a life.
