ABI Hits the Airwaves with a New Radio Ad

This week another piece of union legislation will dominate the news coming from the Iowa House as they take up House File 530, a bill that wreak havoc on Iowa’s workers’ compensation system by changing the way physicians are selected to treat injured employees.

The Iowa Association of Business and Industry will be running statewide radio ads, as well as on WHO radio and on the hometown stations of several key targeted legislators.

The bill will be in sub-committee on Monday, and a public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the State Capitol. Republican leaders are encouraging people call 515-281-5129 to sign up to speak out against the bill at the public hearing. TheIowaRepublican.com will be covering the public hearing on Tuesday night.
