“January 22, 2015, marks 42 years since the Roe v. Wade decision was thrust on our nation”, stated Jenifer Bowen, Executive Director of Iowa Right to Life.  “In that time, more than 57 MILLION unborn children lost their lives violently in the womb. Who were they created to be? Tragically, we will never know.  Little girls and boys who never got to take their first breath-to live their lives-to dream about who they wanted to be when they grew up.”

“With more than 16 lives lost in Iowa every day to abortion, it is more important than ever that we continue to speak up!  We are the voice for those with no voice, our unborn, handicapped and elderly.  We will not rest until every life, born and unborn, is safe from the pervasive culture of death,” Bowen concluded.

The 2015 Midwest March for Life Sponsors are Iowa Right to Life and the Knights of Columbus Iowa State Council.  Co-Sponsoring the day’s events is Saint Jude Hospice.  The Media Sponsor is 98.3 The Torch.
