Respected Conservative Leader Karen Fesler Joins Perry Iowa Team

AUSTIN — Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) announced Karen Fesler will join his growing Iowa campaign as Statewide Co-Chair. She joins conservative icon Sam Clovis in leading Gov. Perry’s Iowa campaign.

Fesler has substantial political experience in both Missouri and Iowa. She has worked for:

Gov. Kit Bond, R-MO;
Campaign Coordinator, Rob Gettemy for Congress (R-IA2), 2010;
Rick Santorum for President, Johnson County and Iowa 2nd District Caucus Coordinator 2011-2012;
Rick Santorum for President, Missouri State Director, 2012;
Advisor, Sam Clovis for US Senate (R-IA), 2014;
Patriot Voices, National Advisory Board, 2013-2015;
Iowa RPI Victory Office volunteer 1996-2014;
Iowa RPI State Nominating Committee, 2012;
Iowa RPI County and State delegate, 1996-2014;
Iowa RPI 2nd District Executive Committee, 2013-2015

Fesler, a St. Louis native, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She taught elementary school for almost 20 years. She has lived in Coralville, IA for the last 22 years with her husband David, where they owned and operated a public safety equipment dealership.
