Report Shows Robust Support from Iowans & Strong Commitment to Build a First-Rate Campaign Capable of Beating Democrat Bruce Braley
West Des Moines, Iowa – Jacobs for Iowa today mailed its end of year report to the Secretary of the U.S. Senate.
Report takeaways include:
• For the year-end report, Jacobs for Iowa reported total receipts of $931,079.84.
• Mark Jacobs enjoyed widespread support from Iowans in 57 different counties, raising $410,041.85 in the fourth quarter of 2013 from contributors.
• Mark personally contributed $321,037.99 to the campaign via in-kind contributions during his exploratory phase.
• Mark also loaned the campaign $200,000 during Q4-2013.
“Today’s report demonstrates that Mark Jacobs is capable of going toe-to-toe financially with Bruce Braley,” said campaign manager Brian Dumas.
“Mark’s focus on jobs and opportunity for all Iowans has resulted in broad financial support. In fact, Mark raised more in six weeks from contributors than the entire current Republican field did in the third quarter of 2013,” said Dumas.
