Mark: It’s easy to forget the blessings we have in the United States.

Hi, this is Mark Jacobs.

Janet and I, along with our three children, had the opportunity to travel to Central America with a group of Christian families to build homes for some of the neediest people in our hemisphere.

When we left, they had a new home and the message of the Good News. It showed our family what can be done when you give someone a hand up, rather than a handout.

Our country is blessed. When our Constitution was written, our founders got it right.

Today, they’re not getting it right in Washington. The President’s policies are taking us down a path that penalizes work and denies opportunity. Even more, it promotes debt and discourages thrift.

I’m running for the United States Senate because our laws should reward those who work hard and build their communities. These are the values that built our nation and they’re worth defending.

Voice-over: Mark Jacobs, a business-tested leader for U.S. Senate.

Mark: I’m Mark Jacobs and I approve this message.

Voice-over: Paid for by Jacobs for Iowa.
