Sam Clovis for U.S. Senate Announces Staff Hires

The Sam Clovis for U.S. Senate campaign announced two additional staff hires Tuesday, including a fundraiser and a field staffer. Below is the press release sent out by the campaign:

SIOUX CITY-Sam Clovis for U.S. Senate is proud to announce two additional staff hires today.

Darcie Johnston will be joining the team as the campaign’s fundraiser.

Darcie is the President and owner of Johnston Consulting. Her long resume includes working with several candidates for Governor, Senate, and Congress across the country, Deputy Director for Major Donors for the Republican Senate-House Dinner, and is currently the founder of “Vermonters for Healthcare Freedom.”

Kolby DeWitt of Sioux City, Iowa has joined the campaign as a Field Director.

Kolby, a graduate of Western Iowa Tech Community College, worked as a Field Director for Congressman Steve King’s 2012 re-election campaign. He currently serves on the State of Iowa Architectural Examination Board, the WITCC Alumni Association Board, and the Effective Fiscal and Public Policy Committee with the City of Sioux City.

Sam Clovis released the following statement:

“Putting together the right team to ensure we are able to get our message to all corners of the great state of Iowa is imperative. With Darcie and Kolby joining us, we will continue to focus on building a grassroots campaign with the necessary resources needed to ensure victory. I am very excited to welcome them aboard our growing team.”
