Texas Governor Rick Perry sent out a Twitter message that indicates he plans to stay in the presidential race. “And the next leg of the marathon is the Palmetto State…Here we come South Carolina!!!,” Perry tweeted. The post was accompanied by a picture of Perry jogging.

Rick Perry finished a disappointing fifth place in Tuesday’s Iowa Caucus, garnering 10% of the vote. His campaign announced afterwards that they would be going back to Texas to reassessment the campaign. That reassessment obviously did not take very long.
