New Ad Touts Romney’s Iowa Newspaper Endorsements

American Future Fund is releasing a new TV ad in Iowa today titled “IA Endorsement” pointing to the multiple news organizations who have endorsed Mitt Romney for President in 2012.

In 2008, the Des Moines Register endorsed Barack Obama for President. In fact, the Register has endorsed the Democrat candidate in last 9 presidential elections. This year, however, they endorsed Governor Mitt Romney. So did the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Sioux City Journal and Quad City Times.

Why did those papers choose Romney over our sitting President? Because of Romney’s proven achievement in the private and public sectors. Plus, Romney has a solid record of working across the lines, an effective leader in a liberal state with a legislature of more than 80% Democrats. Romney also helped America succeed when he changed the trajectory of a failing US Winter Olympics.

“Romney believes in America and has the experience and leadership to put this country back to work and right our economy,” stated AFF Founder Nick Ryan. “The Iowa newspapers – and the people of Iowa know – Mitt Romney is the leader we need.”
