Congressman Tom Latham unveiled his campaign’s latest television ad on Wednesday, entitled “Iowa Common Sense”. Latham faces Democrat Leonard Boswell in the race to represent Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District. The email sent by Latham’s campaign, along with the new ad, is below:
Iowa common sense…
It’s a term every Presidential candidate seems to borrow during the caucuses, but what does it really mean?
To me, it means the common sense to know we cannot continue to spend money that we know we don’t have. It means the common sense to know that the American people don’t their federal government controlling and running their personal health care. Iowa common sense means knowing that government that governs least, governs best.
This is the same commons sense that I am highlighting in my latest TV ad – “Iowa Common Sense“
The ad highlights my proud roots in this state, and how my parents and working on the family farm and business prepared me with the Iowa common sense I use to represent you in Congress.
Thank you for your time, and your continued support.
Tom Latham
