We all know that the Republican Party of Iowa is in the midst of regime change, but how embarrassing is it that the state convention tabloid misspells the last name of the Governor?
Most Iowans know that Terry BRANSTAD served as the state’s governor from 1983 to 1999, and returned to office following the 2010 election. Unfortunately, the Republican Party of Iowa, which is being staffed by out-of-state staffers who have worked for Ron Paul’s presidential campaign, thought that the Iowa’s governor was named Brandstad.
While BRANSTAD’s name was spelled incorrectly, they did manage to get the correct spelling of the Assistant Parliamentarian, Jacob Nieuwsma, and the convention Auditor, Bernardo Granwehr.
