Eric Woolson, who was Mike Huckabee’s Iowa campaign manager in 2008, has signed on to work for former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. Last fall Woolson worked for Senator Chuck Grassley after working for Bob Vander Plaats in the gubernatorial primary earlier in the year.
Woolson’s decision to go to work for Pawlenty tells us a couple of things. One, Tim Pawlenty is taking Iowa seriously. Two, maybe Mike Huckabee isn’t. Just last week Woolson attended Huckabee’s book signing in West Des Moines. Woolson was also invited on to Huckabee’s bus with a number of other supporters.
