Rob Taylor Announces Candidacy for House District 44

Dallas County GOP Chairman Rob Taylor hopes to represent District 44 in the Iowa House of Representatives in 2013.  The area will be without an incumbent due to redistricting.

Here is the press release issued by Taylor last night:

West Des Moines, Iowa – At the Dallas County Republican Party Central Committee Meeting this evening, Chairman Rob Taylor announced he is a candidate for the Iowa House of Representatives.

In his announcement speech Taylor said, “I’ve decided to run for the Iowa House because as a husband & father of four I want my children to be well-educated, grow-up in a free land and live a prosperous life with a good job within the great state of Iowa.”

Taylor went on to stress his conservative credentials. “My campaign will focus on creating jobs and growing Iowa’s economy while lowering corporate income taxes and commercial property taxes. As a small businessman, I know first hand how to drive our states economy.”
