Point of Grace Pastor Announces Candidacy for Senate District 22

Jeff Mullen, the lead pastor at Point of Grace Church in Waukee has announced his candidacy in Senate District 22, an open seat following redistricting.  State Senator Pat Ward is expected to also seek election in the district after redistricting.

Below is the press release that Mullen emailed earlier this evening.

 

A NEW SENATOR, IN A NEW DISTRICT, FOR A NEW SENATE!

Mullen firmly supports individual rights and responsibility, the respect for the Constitutional rule of law, free enterprise,

restraints on taxing and government spending, limited government, inalienable human rights for the born and unborn, the integrity of the traditional family as the basic unit of society, and the freedom of religion.

Waukee, Iowa –Jeff Mullen, announced he is a candidate for the Iowa State Senate.

Mullen is running in the newly redistricted Senate District 22 where he has lived for 16 years.  He is an entrepreneur, employer and leader in his community and believes people in District 22 are looking for a fiscal and social conservative leader.

Jeff and his wife Cathy, live in Clive with their two children. Jeff is Lead Pastor at Point of Grace Church, Waukee IA.
