In addition to showing up in towns around the state, Tim Pawlenty will also be showing up on Iowa TV sets soon. Pawlenty is the first candidate to air a TV ad in Iowa. The ad will appear on cable systems across the state.
The ad buy is just $50,000. That doesn’t buy a lot statewide, but it should help Pawlenty increase his name ID in the First-in-the-Nation state. After investing heavily in staff and consultants in the state, Pawlenty has not seen his numbers grow in recent polls. The TV buy may help move those numbers.
