College Republicans Launch “What’s Your Plan?” TV Ad in Iowa

The College Republican National Committee (CRNC) has placed a brand new television ad in Iowa to insert the voice of the debt-paying generation into the 2012 debate. The 30-second ad will run in 4 media markets: Ames, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Waterloo on both broadcast and cable.

“What’s your plan?” is the sequel to nationally acclaimed “Break-Up” spot that the CRNC aired last October during the 2010 mid-term elections.

College Republican National Committee Chairman Zach Howell had this to say,

“This is the first time that the CRNC has run a television spot during a Presidential Cycle. The focus of the ad is multi-faceted. First, to highlight the underreported fact that the interest alone on the national debt is expected to be $5.5 Trillion. Secondly, the ad has a call to action that encourages our generation to ‘stand up strong and ask the candidates what their plan to solve the debt crisis is?’ This ad is just one way in which our generation is telling political leaders today: Don’t Put Your Debt on Our Tab!”

CRNC representatives will be available to comment on this issue, and any other issue that concerns youth political attitudes. Our leadership has appeared as   contributors on FOX NEWS, CNN, MSNBC, and C-SPAN. We have been featured in the New York Times, Associated Press, Washington Post, TIME, Politico, and a host of other outlets.
