Sarah Palin helped the Republican Party of Iowa draw the most people ever to its Reagan Dinner last night. Palin was welcomed to the First-In-The-Nation Caucus state by 1500 Iowa Republicans.
This was the first seated dinner that the Republican Party of Iowa has held under Chairman Matt Strawn. Last year’s Reagan Dinner, which featured Minnesota Tim Pawlenty, was more of a rally. Last night’s event was about three times larger than the 2009 Reagan dinner.
