reedMarion, IA- Marion businessman Christopher Reed announced his campaign was officially placed on the ballot earlier this week for U.S. House of Representatives in Iowa’s 2nd District.

Reed said in a statement, “Since my campaign is a strictly grass-roots campaign, we used the grass-roots people of Iowa’s 2nd District to collect signatures for the ballot. My campaign is dedicated to the good people of Iowa and the best way to represent them is to get out and ask for their help in steering our country back on the right path. In the process of collecting signatures over the past several months, I have been privileged to meet thousands of passionate Iowans and appreciate speaking with all of them. “

Reed added, “I have a top-notch campaign team that is second to none in this race. No other candidate on either side of the political spectrum has assembled a team as organized or as dedicated as I have. This campaign is a true testament of American exceptionalism, everyday Americans coming together for a greater good.”

Reed is a husband, father of four, a Navy Veteran and has owned and managed his own business for the past 11 years.
