The Governor Branstad 2010 campaign today released its latest ad, called “Let’s Work,” which highlights Terry Branstad’s plan to bring 200,000 new jobs to Iowa. The ad, running on statewide network and cable television in conjunction with the ads released yesterday.
“There is a clear contrast between the two candidates for governor when it comes to job creation,” said Branstad 2010 campaign manager Jeff Boeyink. “Governor Culver has chosen to put us in debt for the next two decades and no long-term jobs, while Terry Branstad takes a meaningful, thoughtful approach to economic development. Branstad’s back, and so are his successful job-creating initiatives.
“Branstad has an actual record of creating jobs and lowering Iowa’s unemployment rate, whereas the Culver record is one of nearly doubled unemployment and a ‘stay the course’ jobs policy that has seen more than 50,000 Iowans added to the rolls of the unemployed,” added Boeyink.
