Campbell, at times during the campaign, came across as very combative, once showing up uninvited to a King event, walking to the front of the room, and demanding that King debate him. Thanks to stunts like that, King wisely refused, instead choosing to let voters make their choice based simply on his record of conservatism, and Campbell’s liberal antics and rhetoric.
In the Fifth District, the choice was clear. King came away with another easy victory and will go back to Washington to continue his mission of tenaciously fighting liberalism on the front lines of Congress.
