Yesterday, Republican candidate for State Treasurer, Dave Jamison, announced he has visited all of Iowa’s 99 counties. Jamison visited his 99th county during his “Changing of the Guard” tour Monday night at a candidate meet and greet in Shelby County.
“The single most important responsibility of an elected official is to be accountable to the people they represent. That is why I made the commitment early on to visit all 99 counties and listen to the people,” said Jamison.
“Iowans from the Mississippi to the Missouri Rivers have expressed the same concerns about the direction our state is heading. They are fearful for their children and grandchildren’s future. Iowa is borrowing too much and spending more than we can afford.”
Jamison concluded his “Changing of the Guard” tour at a stop in Ankeny with special guest Barbara Grassley.
