Demonstrating the popularity of his positive campaign and record of accomplishments for Iowa, Sen. Chuck Grassley’s re-election campaign raised more than $733,000 during the third quarter of this year, according to its federal election report filed today.
The campaign started the quarter on July 1 with $5.7 million in the bank, received $733,100 in contributions, spent $1.69 million and had $4.75 million on hand on Sept. 30.
“Chuck Grassley is doing a great job for Iowa. He has a long record of working to provide tax relief for working Iowans and small businesses, holding government accountable, standing up to the special interests and fighting for families, seniors, family farmers and Iowa’s businesses,” campaign spokesman Eric Woolson said. “This report is an indication of the strong support he receives because of his hard work for us.”
