Gettemy Launches TV Ads in 2nd District

Republican candidate Rob Gettemy announced today his campaign has released two new television advertisements, entitled “Jobs” and “Values”. The ads will begin airing across the Second Congressional District today.

“Throughout my travels across the district, there are two concerns that voters constantly bring up to me,” Gettemy stated. “First, there is real and persistent concern that the Obama Administration and Congressman Loebsack just don’t get how to rebuild our American economy. They think government jobs are the answer, and have been pouring trillions of dollars we don’t have into a failed experiment.”

“Second, the ‘Obama/Loebsack Experiment’ is also undercutting the very principles and values that made America…and Iowa…great places to live and work,” Gettemy added. “Iowa has given me great opportunities, and I’ve succeeded in an environment that rewarded hard work and personal responsibility. I teach students how to create jobs and build our economy. And I know the answer to rebuilding America isn’t more government spending, or more government jobs.”

The ads speak to concerns and echo what Gettemy has been speaking to on the campaign trail. The ad was produced by Bob Haus of Eagle Media in Des Moines. In 2008, Haus produced the TV and radio ads for Miller-Meeks and was an integral part of her campaign team.
