Donald Trump Hints A Presidential Run – Could He Fire Obama?

In the wake of a favorable New Hampshire presidential poll, Donald Trump is the latest celebrity mulling a presidential candidacy in 2012.  Donald Trump says he may run for president of the United States and dropped his latest hint about a possible 2012 bid during a trip to Scotland.

“A lot of people have asked me to do it and until recently I would have no interest,” the 64-year-old property tycoon and host of the reality show The Apprentice told reporters, adding that President Barack Obama was “having a very hard time.”

“I think he would be the first to admit that things have not been easy for him,” said Trump. “The U.S. is a great country and it’s not doing as well as it should. It could be doing much better and I think, with proper leadership, it would do unbelievably well. “Trump had said on Tuesday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program regarding a possible 2012 bid: “For the first time in life, I am absolutely thinking about it.”

What say you TIR reader?  Do you think he will run and how do you think it would influence the race?
