American Future Fund Blasts Braley in New TV Ad

Coming through on its promise to target Congressman Bruce Braley in Iowa’s First District this fall, the American Future Fund has released a scathing TV ad that highlights Braley’s support of the proposed mosque at Ground Zero.

“This insensitive and crass opinion by an Iowan Congressman does not reflect the views of hardworking people of Eastern Iowa.  Not only is the suggested mosque tactless, it is offensive to those families whose loved ones died in those horrible terrorist attacks,” said Nick Ryan, a spokesman for the American Future Fund. “Braley’s extreme views clearly are not in-line with Iowa values, and he is out-of-touch with the American People.  It is obvious that as DCCC Vice Chair, Braley is too wrapped up in siding with Pelosi than doing what is right.”

The 30-second TV ad is currently running in the Cedar Rapids and Davenport media markets.
