Des Moines, IA – American Future Fund Political Action today announced the endorsement of Mariannette Miller-Meeks, who is running against incumbent Democrat Congressman Dave Loebsack for U.S. House in Iowa’s Second District.
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks will be a very good Congresswoman. Her values are in-line with Iowa values, which is a clear contrast to her opponent. Miller-Meeks will bring a fresh perspective and represent her district with dignity,” said AFF Political Action Chairman Nick Ryan.
A doctor by profession, the 2010 Republican Nominee for Congress in Iowa’s Second District Mariannette Miller-Meeks is a wife and mother of two children. She and her family reside in Ottumwa, Iowa. Her opponent is liberal Democrat incumbent Dave Loebsack.
Ryan continued, “Dave Loebsack has voted for Nancy Pelosi’s agenda 97 percent of the time. This agenda included government-run health care and the stimulus — which did little than spend millions of taxpayer dollars while still losing 3 million jobs. It’s clear that Loebsack’s Washington D.C. values are getting in the way of representing hardworking Iowans.”
Along with this endorsement, AFFPAC will be sending Mariannette Miller-Meeks a check for $5,000.
