rick-santorumFormer United States Senator Rick Santorum will be in Iowa tomorrow to headline the American Future Fund’s Conservative Lecture Series event in Dubuque. The event will be held at the University of Dubuque tomorrow at 7 pm. Santorum will deliver a speech entitled, “Jumpstarting America’s Economy by Putting People First.”

Tomorrow’s event will be the third event the American future Fund has held in Iowa this year. While other Republican events in the state featuring nationally known figures have created controversy by advocating for pro-life activists to vote for pro-choice candidates, the American Future Fund’s series of events have remained focused on the positive attributes of each speaker.

Santorum’s Iowa visit raises the speculation that he might be considering running for president in 2012. During a conference call with reporters yesterday, Santorum didn’t rule out a potential presidential run. TheIowaRepublican.com will cover the event live via our twitter feed (http://twitter.com/IowaGOPer), and we will once again be asking those in attendance for their reaction to Santorum’s speech via Text Message.

On Friday, TheIowaRepublican.com will have full coverage of Santorum’s visit to Iowa. TheIowaRepublican.com will also gauge his political prospects in the First in the Nation state is he does decide to run for president.
