I’ve got a list of quick snipits I want to comment on, so here goes:
1. The Iowa Republicans and anti-tax crowd are rocking and rolling. Rumor has it that there may not be a vote on federal deductibility today because the Dems might be a few votes short. My advice to those opposed to the measure: keep kicking it until you’re sure it’s dead.
3. Apparently enough time has passed since the campaign that the gag order on Todd Palin has been lifted. He finally gets to fulfill his manly duties of defending his wife (which he couldn’t do before because she had to first prove that she could defend herself). ‘Bout time.
4. Obama needs to hire a new personal shopper because his choices in gifts for foreign leaders have been downright cheesy. First, we had the DVD collection for the British Prime Minister (which I later heard were formatted for the USA DVD region, not the European region, so they wouldn’t even work in the P.M.’s DVD player). This time, he gave the Queen of England an ipod… filled with show tunes.
Apparently someone needs to tell the president that the Queen of England is not a drag queen.
