lyndaI think Lynda Waddington (the self-proclaimed “Omnipotent Ovary”… no, I’m not kidding) is incapable of telling the truth when it comes to abortion. Here is the latest headline of her “journalistic” writings on the Iowa

Religious organizations say ‘abortion mandate’ claims are misleading

The truth is that two obscure “religious” organizations that promote abortion are siding with the president and other liberals on pushing a nationalized healthcare plan that includes abortion coverage. Dozens of other actual religious organizations see the proposed plan for what it is – a way to get around the Hyde Amendment to provide federal funding for abortions.

That’s right… your tax dollars funding the murder of innocent children.

Now, according to Waddington, the pro-lifers’ claims that Obama’s plan will result in federal funding of abortions are totally bogus.

I find this to be pretty ironic given some of the other headlines I’ve read lately, such as:

Public plan would allow abortion coverage

(an AP article reprinted on, the bastion of conservative thought… not)

Health Bill Might Direct Tax Money to Abortion
(That one’s from the New York Times, an entity not exactly known for its pro-life bias.)

I’m sure our dear friend Lynda will never give up telling lies about abortion. So, I guess the best we can hope for is that the public will be alerted to her insurmountable bias.

About the Author

Battleground Iowa
Emily Geiger writes from a conservative perspective on everything from politics to religion to pop culture. Like the original Emily of Revolutionary War era, this Emily is delivering important messages crucial to winning the raging war of the time, but today, this is a culture war rather than a traditional one. And, like the original Emily, sometimes it takes a woman to do (or say) that which lesser men lack the courage and tenacity to do.
