Ralph Hallow, of The Washington Times is known for his reporting on the inner workings of the Republican Party. In his latest column, he writes about the fallout from RNC Chairman Michael Steele’s comments about Rush Limbaugh following his appearance at CPAC.
Hallow also mentions that some RNC members were unhappy that Steele refused to respond to their phone calls and e-mails asking about what the RNC was doing with respect to fundraising, party organizing, and other preparing for the 2010 elections.
To in an effort to calm down some RNC members, Steele had a conference call with members were he said, “I gave our opponents an opening to use against us. I felt very bad about this all last week. It won’t happen again.”
