Culver Rolls Out His Borrowing Plan

Even 71% of the people attending Culver’s I-Jobs press conferences disapprove of his debt scheme. Look at this guy, he can’t believe it. This picture was from the Council Bluffs Nonpareil. I have a feeling this picture will have a long healthy life.

What’s that weird thing Culver does with his hands when he speaks? Seems awkward if you ask me, and I doubt he would comment on it. Maybe I could ask Matt Strawn since he does the same thing. Yeah, don’t ask why I notice stupid things like that.

Since we are looking at pictures… Here is one on Senator Harkin. I think this is him at the IRS mail room shortly after April 15th smelling all of that tax payer money flowing in.

Shawn Johnson to Run for Governor

Why not? What else does she have to prove? I have to admit, it’s almost impossible to be an Iowan and not cheer on Shawn Johnson. Congratulations to her, she makes all of Iowa proud. I’m sure someone in the comment section will probably disagree, just because that’s how you guys roll.

Alright, that’s enough fun for the day…

Will the rain clouds that haunt Chairman Steele ever part?

I have read a lot of the news articles on Steele’s appearance on Meet the Press and his speech at the RNC luncheon. To be honest it’s a mixed bag at best. While his appearance on MTP was pretty solid, as was his speech to the RNC members, he lacks any sort of credibility.

If you want a cliff notes version of what is going on at the RNC, it’s really nothing different than what we saw here in Iowa with the state party. It’s just a big pissing match. While I think the committee is as dysfunctional as their Chairman is, Steele doesn’t do himself any favors when he is giving his former staffers and their kids high paying jobs.

But hey, they did put out a YouTube on Pelosi vs. The CIA.
