Congress is currently contemplating a spending bill that would finally provide economic relief for flood-ravaged eastern Iowa.
The present version of the bill includes $44 million for eastern Iowa, $2.6 million of which is to be allocated for repairs to Mississippi River Lock and Dam No. 11.
